About our family

Two pairs of hands. One quiet mission.

We’re a husband-and-wife team — artists and music ministers who felt God nudge us toward something small and slow. Every design starts as an original painting at our kitchen table, then becomes prints, stickers, journals, tip-ins, Bible guides, and other digital goods we create ourselves. The Strokes of Grace is our way of sending a piece of our home into yours.

How does billing work?

You’re billed $12 monthly on the day you subscribe. One flat price — no hidden fees, taxes included where applicable.

Can I cancel or pause anytime?

Absolutely. You can pause or cancel from your account with two clicks — no phone calls, no guilt.

When will my first piece ship?

We print and pack in batches, shipping on the 1st of every month. Subscribe before the 25th to receive that month’s piece.

Can I return or refund a digital download?

Digital products — printables, prayer kits, stickers, journals and tip-ins — are delivered instantly, so they are final sale and not eligible for return or refund. If a file won’t download or open, email ellyn@thestrokesofgrace.com within 14 days and we’ll re-send your link or replace the file. Physical items can be returned unused within 14 days of delivery.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Yes — we ship to Canada and most of Europe. Additional shipping is calculated at checkout.

Is every piece original art?

Yes. Every design starts as an original painting — watercolor, acrylic, portraits — by the two of us at our kitchen table. We also create digital products like stickers, journals, tip-ins, and Bible guides from the same artwork. We then print and pack each piece so more homes can receive it without exhausting ours.

Shipping & delivery

How your order gets to you.

One flat rate per order, honest timelines, and easy address updates.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days after we print and pack them. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days total, and Express is 1–3 business days. Larger handmade items, like A5 binders and ribbon-accented totes, can take a little longer to finish — your checkout will show the exact estimate before you pay.

How much is shipping?

We charge one flat shipping rate per order, not per item. Standard U.S. shipping is $6.99; Express is $14.99. The $12/month Seed Subscription includes free U.S. shipping, and digital products are delivered instantly with no shipping cost.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

You can change it yourself. Open your order from the confirmation email (or My Orders), and while the order still says “Processing” you'll see an Update shipping address form. Save it and we'll ship to the new address — you and Ellyn both get an email confirming the change. Once the order ships, the address locks; email ellyn@thestrokesofgrace.com and we'll help you work with the carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to Canada and most of Europe. International rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Why does my delivery estimate change depending on the product?

Some pieces are printed and packed quickly; others, like larger binders and ribbon totes, are finished by hand and need extra handling time. The checkout estimate reflects the specific items in your cart so you know exactly when to expect them.

Damaged, lost or missing

If something goes wrong, we make it right.

Every order is covered for 14 days after delivery. Here’s exactly what to do.

My package arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email ellyn@thestrokesofgrace.com within 14 days of delivery with your order ID and photos of the item and the outer packaging. We'll send a free replacement of the same design and size when it's still in stock, or refund you in full if it isn't. Please keep the packaging until we've sorted it out — carriers sometimes ask for it.

Tracking says delivered, but I never got my package.

First, check with your household and neighbors and look around porches and mailboxes — carriers often scan a parcel a day before it lands. If it still hasn't shown up 3 business days after the delivered scan, email us your order ID and we'll open a carrier trace. If the trace comes back lost, we reship at our cost or refund you, your choice.

My tracking hasn't moved in days.

A parcel is considered lost in transit when there's been no scan for 7 business days domestically (21 for international). Email us your order ID at that point and we'll file the claim for you — you never have to deal with the carrier yourself.

Something is missing from my order.

Handmade orders sometimes ship in more than one box, so check your shipping email for a second tracking link first. If it's genuinely missing, email us within 14 days with your order ID and a photo of everything that arrived, and we'll ship the missing item right away at no cost.

I received the wrong color or size.

That's on us — email ellyn@thestrokesofgrace.com with your order ID and a photo. We'll send the correct item with a prepaid return label for the wrong one, no need to pay for anything twice.

How fast will I hear back?

We're a family of 6 running this together, so we answer every email within 1–2 business days. Include your order ID and photos in the first message and we can usually resolve it in a single reply.
